Can anybody tell me what exactly is the difference between the two ?
I'm new to credit cards and I want to sign up with Yahoo web hosting.
They accept Visa but I don't know whether I can use Visa Electron or
they will only accept Visa Classic.

Thanks

I know,I'm in Egypt my question is whether Yahoo will accept it
and how it is different from Visa Classic

That Electron card looks to be a debit card. I wouldn't assume it could be used everywhere. It might work, but don't count on it. Go with the standard Visa credit card and have no worries.

from your link

"...but Visa Electron cards are accepted at electronic merchants and ATMs in the US and Canada."

Visa Electron is not a credit card.

WRONG

A Visa Electron is identical to a regular Visa card, with the exception that the data printed on your card is not embossed, so you can't use it with those old fashioned 19th century CC machines. Other than that, there's no difference. It's mainly for electronic use.

Link #1:"Visa Electron was launched in the 80s as a consumer debit product..."

Link #2:"Visa DebitCards...Visa Electron"

Link #3:"VISA Electron Card is a debit card"

Link #4:"Debit Products: Visa Electron"

I'm sorry for saying it wasn't a credit card. I guess all the links are wrong.
