Virus?

I have lots of temp files being created

such as this;
Malware: EICAR-Test-File (not a virus)
Path: C:\Windows\Temp\tmp000033b5\tmp0000243d
Infected process: [816] C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Antivirus Free Edition\gzserv.exe

I am not sure what this mean, infected, not infected

I have run multiple scans using bitdefender, reasoncore, hitman pro, Panda, Rougue killer, and exterminate it

the software tries to delete these temp files, but they always return

how can I fix this

Try this guide, and make sure you are in safe mode.

Are you running more than one anti-virus? If so disable one.
Use one and only one anti virus and keep it updated. MSE and Defender have become very limited. Some free ones are Bitdefender, Avira, AVG, Panda, and Avast. I have had excellent luck with Bitdefender free since 2014.

Kaspersky has a Rescue Disk prog you can burn to cd and boot off of. Good for progs that won't do away.

But generally, if you go to msconfig and get the progs not to run in the first place, you can then restart (or stop them from task manager once you see the name of the program) and should have the ability to remove all files.

An EICAR file is just a harmless test file to see if your anti-virus is working.

Something is producing this. I would start by running Ccleaner and System Ninja and then seeing what's auto starting using Autoruns. Be very careful on what you deactivate.

OTS (Old Timer's System Scanner) might help too in letting you know what files were added/modified recently. You may also want to try Rougekiller and Freefixer. But be very careful with Freefixer as well. You need to research each object.
