I usually feel left out when I don't get the latest virus spam. Fortunately it never posed a threat here :D

woot woot for firefox (usually not the target of IE's security holes) and online based email (so friends don't ask you why spam has your "from" address)

Im running Norton 2005 and no fire (can't stand them all make my pc slow im too lazy to format) wall on DSL.

Norton keeps popping up telling me there in an inbound attempted intrusion on one of my ports that is has blocked. The devil is NetBus.

I'm using FireFox. does it have strictly to do with my ISP or web pages?

I have a feeling Mutt/Firefox won't be affected. Don't use a virus scan with Gentoo

I have Mcafee firewall running at home.
Last night a it popped a warning that this virus was on the system.
I use teh AVG virus scanner, so I updated it and ran a full scan. Nothing found.
I clicked on the Mcafee firewalls pop-up link and it was basically trying to sell me their virus scanner.

I then downloaded and ran Microsoft's my doom scanner as well as the Norton one. Neither of them found any occurence of this virus.
