virus still in system restore, any suggestion?

i already clean the virus but on win xp it's in the system restore
and my anti-virus can't get it out. i tried restore to earlier date
even one week past but still reside in there. now, how do i get it
out?

What virus is it? You probably have to stop it from starting using the system registry first of all. Also, google the name of it and you should be able to figure out how to get rid of it.

it's something like kwbot
i use the google to search for it and how to remove it but when i got to the registryit said to go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\ and HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices\ but couldn't find it there under winxp

Should be runonce IIRC. Get rid of anything that is not supposed to start when your computer starts.
