Virus - Startpage.4.af - how do I get rid of?

Just wondering if anyone has successfully gotten rid of the startpage.4.af trojan? AVG detects it, but is not able to get rid of it. I got the CWShredder exe, but that didn't get rid of it. My IE is all messed up and basically hijacked. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of this one?

you try another virus scanner like houscall.antivirus.com?

Try Trendmico.com...there is a free online scan. Never heard of CWshredder...where can i get it?
