Looking for a new virus scanner, checking to see what people recommend for a home PC running windows 2k. Used to have the Online Mcaffee virus scan, but they tried jacking up the price after that first year's low cost (who'd have guessed?) ;o)

norton 2001... using mcafee's software has been known to slow down internet explorer and others.

edit: that and i have a healthy distrust of mcafee after hotmail's version failed to catch the sircam.
 
I'm using F-Secure Antivirus 5.21 at the moment and I like it very much because of it's centralized management and update features for networks (lazy me 😉

Heads up for Norton 2001 here too

If you want a free scanner you could use Inoculate IT but IMHO it's not that good under W2K
