Why not try Norton AntiVirus? Just remember to follow the instructions on installing the program on a system you believe has a virus. If that doesn't work. I would recommend at least formatting the HD before instaliing windows to give you a better chance of cleaning that virus. Good luck.

Well the obvious first place to start is download a Virus scanner and see what it finds.

You could also try WinTop or Task Monitor (ctrl-alt-del) and end any processes that you "know" don't need to be running.

Geez guys don't tell him to give up without trying. There's lots he can do before he heads straight for a Format/ReInstall. If he atleasts runs a virus checker to identify the Virus almost 98% of them can be removed/repaired.

I think all you have to do is type stop, or off or something, try it, my friend gave it to me before but mcaffee caught it before i could install it. hehe. its more of a prank then a virus.

try it first, and see if it works, never had the virus but i've heard of it, you won't see stop on your screen but after you type stop, everything should work fine
