I have tried googling this but when I do it mostly comes up with running Windows 8 within VB.

I am planning on getting either the Lenovo Yoga 13 or the Thinkpad Twist as a replacement for my current laptop so I can have the best of both worlds in terms of tablet/pc hybrids.

Does anyone know of any problems installing VirtualBox on windows 8, desktop mode obviously?.

I only ask because recently I have had to get a new laptop as my old one didnt have the Virtualization option within the BIOS so I dont want to shoot myself in the foot.
Ill be running older versions of windows (7 and XP) and possibly some linux OS'S.

As long as it's Windows 8, and not Windows RT, you shouldn't have any problems.

If you run it on VM you might have an issue where the mouse overshoots the hotspot corners. But that only occurs in VM. In desktop there is a catch all on the corners.

Any thoughts on Citrix Xen Desktop on Windows 8?
I will try it this week. But the download size is ridiculous.
