Does the VPN can be configure in a way that it can be use in wireless lan environment such as Hot Spot?
well,. what our IT suppliers said that it will crash the VPN if we open to outside hotspot area. I am confuse by this

im not sure but all i know is wireless is not secure so having a VPN with wirelss would get rid of teh security aspcet so you might as well jsut do reguler file sharing

If the VPN endpoint is a wireless host and all traffic is routed through the VPN I'd say the connection is very secure assuming the VPN is properly configure (no single-DES or dropping to unencrypted traffic in case of connecting problems). VPNs are meant for conditions where "anybody" can listen to your traffic and as such are suitable for WLAN use also.

As for VPN crashing when used in WLAN I have never heard of such thing.
