Virtual Pool 2 DVD version 8.99

Does anyone know if Virtual Pool 3 is an improvement of VP2 or is it a totally different game off a revamped engine? I remember playing VP2 a long time ago and was really impressed... I just bought VP3 recently and I'm not so impressed. I'm just curious if perhaps VP2 was actually better than its successor. Anyone know?

i noticed the exact same.
in vp3 you have options like detailed backgrounds and a wide variety of tables and different game type
i found though that even with all these added options it took away fom the game play.
the pool is as real as the real thing. i play on aleague and it has helped my game strides.
but form some reason i think i enjoy vp2 more?
maybe it is the simplicity.

I'm in Canada and at electronics boutique they were sellin vp3 for only 10 bucks.
that's not the dvd version but for 10 bucks canadian its deffinately worth it.
