What should I set the intial and maximum virtual memory for my computer?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ 2.6GHz, 2Gb RAM 32 bit vista
 
I tested my swap file needs for a couple days last week. With 1GB RAM running XP SP3, I set the min to 512MB and max to 2GB. This allows Windows to grow the swapfile beyond the minimum and up to the maximum when needed. The swapfile will never shrink, however, until reboot.

I ran office apps, 3DMark 2005, opened 10 browser windows, decoded some HD video. Swap file was still 512MB after two days.
