After installing SP2 on my W2K machine (took a while getting around to it

everything is running slow. By that I mean, loading apps whether it be word or photoshop, tends to lock the system temporarily and while working in apps things function slowly and sluggish. I am also getting low virtual memory errors. I never had this problem before installing SP2. I heard something about having SP2 installed and Write Caching enabled on your HDs can slow system performence dramatically. I just don't have a clue of what could be wrong. Can anyone shed any ideas on the subject? Thanks
