Virtual Machine with mic input???

Does anyone know of any program like virtual box that actually has a working Mic input so I can chat with?? I tried virtual box on Ubuntu and Mint and both fale miserably any hope???

Not sure of other VM software that has that capability. However, your other option is to get a cheap USB sound card. Then set up VirtualBox VM and add the new sound card under USB Device Filters (in USB configuration settings) so it connects to the VM instead of the host OS.

I haven't tested this myself (why I suggest a cheap USB sound card), but I think it will work.
