Virtual Machine with 3D Acceleration

is there any virtual machine that support 3d acceleration... I am looking to run a really old game that doesnt work well on vista.. nor xp...

the problem is that I dont have an old computer to install windows 98... because my new hardware doesnt have drivers for windows 98 lol...

i wouldn't say its new, but its the first time its actually visible as a selectable option now. before 6.5 you had to manually enter the setting into the vmx file. and it wasn't fully supported then. now it is. below is a paste from the hardware options section of the user guide for 6.5:

"Select the Accelerate 3D graphics check box if you run applications that use DirectX 9 accelerated graphics. The virtual machine must be a Workstation 6 or higher virtual machine and must have VMware Tools installed from Workstation 6.5 or higher.

Accelerated graphics capabilities apply only to Windows XP guests, on hosts running Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Linux. See Support for Direct3D Graphics."

I think 6.5 is the only one to support shaders or more advanced 3D acceleration.
