Virtual Gaming Glove $12.95

hehe i remember the power glove was a gimmick item back then. couldn't race well with it (radracer) and was hard to use in Mike Tyson's Punch OUT... 🙂

it did look dope in that movie, The Wizard, where that spoiled rich brat had a power glove and was racing with it.

I looked these up one time way back and decided they cost too much in case it didn't work very well (they were ~$69 at the time). Now for $19.95 shipped, I'm in. I read a bunch of forums stuff over on Yahoo and there's a ton of neat stuff that this thing can do... Here's one example I can't wait to try.

Thanks Jaarjaar!!!

Several of the engineers for this actually worked on the powerglove team.

There is a decent sized community that develop for this thing too.

Spoil the fun for all us lefties.

I'm a righty and I'd rather this be for the left hand. I'd prefer to use something like this in combination with my mouse. In this case, I'd rather be a lefty.

What makes you think this glove works (well) with this 3d Desktop program?

Nothing... For that matter from what I read nothing really works "well" with it, but just the concept is cool. Like Minority Report or Lawnmower Man or something in the movies. For ~$20 it'll be worth tinkering with.

BTW - That Sphere program is kinda cool, even with just a mouse.

I was looking at this glove a few days ago. If anyone buys it, any sort of feedback will be greatly appreciated. I was thinking about using this for MAME lightgun games.

Thanks, jumped on this. Live in SD so I just picked it up, $13 bucks awesome.

ErmanC: Could you link those forums where people are using this for stuff.
Im looking to develop for this thing too and of coarse Punch-Out for Nes emu here I come!

Wasn't this the one to use with Black and White (that they had to put out a special patch for)?

Cool. Let us know how it goes.

Don't forget Super Punch-Out (SNES)!

I think the company is going down the drain.... I was going to get this for CS.. but apparently there is no CS support.... the company is really spotty on game patches... and the website hasn't been taouched in ages... read some of the posts on the forum there

too bad... good idea.

So as a lefty, is this thing worth getting? I am very tempted to get it, I'm only concerned that I'll be frustrated with having the use the glove on my right hand (I do use my mouse with my right hand...).
