Virtual Console (wii)

The only one I see in the list is Super Mario RPG. I really want to see Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 2 + 3, as well as a bunch of other games. Anyone know whats holding these up, or if there are projected dates?

I have a feeling its because they are milking these games on the DS for the full $50.

Yep. And it seems like VC hardly gets any new releases nowadays anyway, so I wouldnt hold my breath.

The only thing I know is that Earthbound is now likely to never see VC... and that makes me want to destroy entire cities Godzilla style.

If youre that desperate to play earthbound on your Wii, google a bit before you raze a city. 😛

Secret of Mana is available. Chrono Trigger probably want be released because it just came out on the DS, and they will want to sell that version instead.

Well, duh. They have a fiscal responsibility to their shareholders to get the maximum possible financial benefit out of these games.

Besides, DS games are usually only $30.

It's not that I'm desperate to play it, I have the original on SNES still and play it every other year or so... but it's just such an awesome game that (aside from the support of a few great websites) is totally lost to the States. Cameos by two EB/Mother characters in SSB is the extent that most people know of it.
