I lived in Spain when the dictator Franco was still alive. They used to joke that Mussolini made the trains run on time, and Franco introduced the Spanish to toilet paper. The police walked around with 45s and Uzi submachine guns and shot to kill if you were on the beach after 5:00. Egypt's not that bad.

My point is that both the US and Muslim world can easily be viewed as the glass being half empty. If people are going to throw rocks they shouldn't live in glass houses.

The US is my home, but that doesn't mean I'm blind to its flaws or refuse to point them out. I'm neither throwing rocks at Islam or the US, merely pointing out the futility of throwing rocks when you live in a glass house. If that bothers you then perhaps it is something you need to think about.

Yes, but Egypt doesn't label any of their Courtneys as celebs.... celebs who live better, have more money and rewards for being Courtney, than anyone else.

That is the issue; America places whores, sluts, druggies, rapists, wife beaters and killers on pedastools and worships them.
