huh, I didn't think there woudl be that many at 20...I waited 2 years w/ my g/f, since she was younger than I was. Not that I really minded, my virginity wasn't something that I cherished or wanted to get rid of either, so just whenever it happened, it happened. 🙂

I have I was 20, and I didn't want to (we were only like 2 months into the relationship), she just started unzipping her pants.. ugh why didn't i just say no.... my first ever gf ruined what sex is for me, and that was 4 years ago and I'm not going to make the same mistake again. Hence the no gf since then

I never intended to have what I said be construed as making fun of anyone.

I'm just somewhat shocked at the numbers.

Though I guess I shouldn't be.


I lost mine when I was 16, but that was ALSO back in 1969 before sex could make you DEAD.

I guess times have changed, and free love isn't quite so "free" anymore.

So being a virgin is, all things concidered, a much safer and healther thing to be.
 
I don't think any of us is making fun at anybody that is or chooses to be a virgin. We're just finding humor in the disproportionate number of people here who are.

So you are saying that being sexually active in a monogamus relationship isn't as healthy as being abstinate? Well I've been in both situations and I can assure you that you would be wrong.

 
Not yet. Had the opportunity, but I'm glad I didn't pass it up cause I know she definitely wasn't the person for that. It'll come though.
