I'll agree that few people are going to be inspired to go on a killing spree from the video games or movies people watch, but I would definitely say that it affects your behaviour in smaller ways, perhaps the way you treat your friends, or the way you treat your SO...it may not be direct violence, but it could be indirect!

Or bad leadership/role-models, you know, those same people in power that are staunchly accusing fictional fantasy of being the prime corruptor of our youth, when everyone at the top of the power pyramid of our society plays a very public game of "pass the buck", and "I didn't inhale".
