For the second time in a month, Berkeley was the scene of violent demonstrations as supporters of President Trump clashed with counter-protesters Saturday on the streets of the city.

At least 10 people were arrested and seven others were injured as a series of disturbances marred what was supposed to be a pro-Trump rally in the famously liberal community. The unrest underscores the heightened political tensions that have taken hold since Trump took office in January.

I can sorta relate. I remember being 18/19 in college.

There is a ton of fear at that age, and student loan debt really is a crushing anvil. There is also this tribal impulse to want to be a part of something larger than yourself and these guys latch onto the most good cause that is around.

The Agitator in Chief had really gone out and stirred the shit in order to create the heightened divisiveness that he needed to win his presidency. He continues to foment divisiveness, hate and fear by pursuing his policies that is tinged with racist overtones. So much for the lie about bringing ALL of the nation's people together in order to "Make America Great Again", of which is surely the most notorious of the coded language he speaks to his followers with.

He claims (lies) that he wants to unite the nation's populace and bring harmony to his tenure, yet his actions speak to a very contrary course of action. His words promote(ed) more fear and hate than the GOP could ever hope to imbue the nation's voters with, so much so that he literally stole them (the conservative nutjob extremist base) away from the GOP and rode to victory on their backs, being hailed as the new messiah of the nativists and purists.

He brought out the worst dregs of society that were lurking in the shadows and rallied them around himself as their savior. He continues to champion their causes by refusing to rebuke their agenda and their activities. They in turn continue to come out of hiding and foment the unrest and conflict they need to spread their doctrine of superiority by the chance of being born to a preferred race.

I wonder what the chances are that their actions would create an opposition group that is just as passionate as they are and are willing to go the distance with them should it become necessary to do so. Well, we found that out the day of Trump's inauguration ceremony didn't we?

IOW, this is all on Trump. He can put to rest this conflict that he caused among the nation's people by simply denouncing those hate-filled organizations and cults that he stirred into action to gain their support and have them recede back into the shadows of society where they belong.

Of course, that is anathema to Trump's rule and he'll never do that so long as he can exploit their talents and causes to his personal advantage.

Yet how do you explain violent leftists who attacked fellow Americans that were peacefully supporting the president? I suspect lots of Trump detractors are either recent immigrants, non Americans or simply not willing to accept that the time for meek leadership from government is over. We need bold leadership who is not afraid to do what must be done.

While there are non American who are wisely in support of our president, there are plenty of people here who never loved America. They were just here to work while pining for their homeland. I wish they would just go back home. This is why H1B visas should be eliminated.
