This has been posted on the movie sites - there's a reason for all the singing and dancing. Around 3:30 (or something), he thanks his fans for making Riddick as successful as it was and it's now the #1 selling DVD and bluray in the US (and the combo pack took sixth). This has supposedly prompted Universal to already start development on another Riddick film.

As a guy who poured all of his energy (and a lot of his own money) into Riddick, I think I'm cool with him celebrating however he wants. Especially if it means I get more Riddick.

No but really, I've always defended him and I enjoy the hell out of his works. He has just weakened my case that he isn't gay.
