Viewsonic vs NEC vs Samsung - w/ POLL

As many of you know I'm starting a little business that is going to cater to (among another group) computer enthusiasts like yourselves.

So I'm trying to get opinions as to which brand of monitors to carry. I can only carry 1 or 2 models of any 1 given brand.

I've narrowed it down to these three brands and want to hear what you think is the best price/quality/performance ratio.

I will probably stock 17" LCD's and 19" LCD's of any 1 of these given brands. I want to carry 15" ones but nobody seems to make them for a reasonable price! Except Dell :disgust:

Edit: Sorry should have pointed this out first: The 17" LCD has to be less than $300 and the 19" less than $400. So no super high end monitors guys 😉

Samsung gets my vote. Good value, IMO. I own a SyncMaster 710T, but you'll be better off stocking the newer 740B (or 730B) and 193P+ (holy grail of 19").

I havent seen many in depth reviews on the 193P+, so I don't know if it's the holy grail of LCDs. Right now, my vote goes towards the Viewsonic VP191B

I have the VP171B and am loving it.

Sorry I should have said that price matters quite a bit. The 17" needs to be under $300 (preferably $250) and the 19" can be up to $400.

The 17" will be the lower end one the 19" can be a little fancier..

Nec use to be great like a few years ago great monitor now there are so expensive. And the MS Timeing is high. So Samsung is my choice

I tend to stay away from ViewSonic due to their shady marketing. I've heard the 193P+ slightly beats the VP191b all-around.

P.S. Make sure it's the 193P+, not the 193P. Slightly better specs on the 193P+.

I am liking the SAMSUNG 710N as a good budget monitor. Any have any problems with this? It's a giant seller on Newegg which is important to me.
