Hey folks... I am primarily seeking OWNERS of the Viewsonic VP930B LCD monitor. How does this new model handel non-native resolutions? I do a lot of gaming in non-native resolutions, and I am wondering how it looks in resolutions lower then 1280x1024... specifically, the lower the resolution, the more I'm interested in the results.
I know ALL LCDs tend to get crummier the further away from 1280x1024 you get, especially once you start getting in the 800x600 range. I have a Viewsonic 912B in the house, but I gave up using it myself because low-res non-native resolutions looked quite bad, so I stuck with my CRT monitor and gave the LCD to my wife.
I'm wondering if a new wave of Viewsonic monitors has gotten any better with low-res non-native resolutions... specifically 640x480 and 800x600 is what I'm interested in knowing... can anyone check out those low res's on the Viewsonic VP930B and let me know their opinion of the picture quality? I have no access to see this LCD myself in person, so it would be nice to know from someone who actually owns one.
