Hey guys i'm new here ive been lurking for a little bit and decided to join up. I was wondering if anyone has, knows someone who has, or have used the Viewsonic Vp912B. I have been researching for a while and havent been able to find an in depth review on it. My main use for this monitor would be games (call of duty,farcry,sims2,warcraft3:frozenthrone), Internet browsing, and listening to music. I've heard that ghosting and image smearing is a problem on most lcd's this one has the fastest response time (12ms) for a 19" lcd i've seen. Any recomendations information would be a great help to me. If any one has this monitor I would be AWESOME if you would write a review. THANKS FOR YOUR GUYS HELP IN ADVANCE.
 
I have the VP912B and it's pretty amazing. No ghosting or blurring is evident in any FPS i've played (hl2, doom3, cs:s). The only possibly complaint is that the screen is a bit too reflective so you can get some glare. Other than that, the picture is amazing, and it's a nice looking monitor too.

 
I'm thinking of getting an LCD as well. For me Ghosting is an Issue, because I mostly play Quake 3 Arena. That game will ghost the fastests of LCDs; especially if you play it @ 125fps.

It seems that most people that have bought the VP912B were happy with it.
 
i gave up on someone posting in this thread a few days ago so i am just now reading it but i ordered mine from amazon on the wed the 24 for 655.49 with free ship i should get it acording to amazon betwwen the 9 and 17 of december and it is guaranteed to arrive by the 24 so that was exactly what i wanted considering everyone offering this monitor at a decent price is back ordered out of there mind last i checked
