I just got mine. It's pretty 😀.

I have one question though... is there a way to get rid of the "Digital" sign that shows up whenever the screen changes? Like when I open up a video game or something.
 
Nope - no way. You can in set up get rid of the annoying message that you are not running in optimal resolution though. That was driving me crazy for a while everytime you did something that was not in 1280x1024. But that dumb digital message seems built in!
 
Tell me about that monitor... I currently have the VG151 from Viewsonic and am now shopping for a new 17" one. The VP171b looks awesome... great response time compared to the other LCDs.

How is it playing games which use a lower resolution? Is it as fuzzy as the older LCDs (assuming you've had one previously)

If you go to a webpage and scroll up and down, how well can you scan text while the screen is scrolling? I know my current one I can't do that, it's just too blurred by the slow response time

Do your eyes feel abnormally fatigued or get red while you play games?

How's the brightness of the screen, especially during the day when the sun lights up your room?

Anything else you can add please lemme know!

Oh one last thing, how much you pay for it? 🙂
