There is a rebate of $100 on it if you buy from certain stores, price tag is $469.
Use AMEX blue to PM to pcrush.com ($347), total will be below $300, depends on local tax.
469-122-100= use local taxes to get total.

where can this rebate be found? i tried looking for it on viewsonic's page, they used to have a rebate page

dude theres a site that is selling vg150s for $319 (refurbed though)

so buy from outpost.com, only tax in certain states, shipping is low (can it really only be $4??)
Outpost link

so its $470, -$100 rebate, -$150 potentially in amex pricemacth (otherwise $135)

potentially this lcd could be $220/$235 before taxes/shipping. nearly as good as the $150 staples envision lcd deal!

according to the viewsonci website though, there is a new model out, so this one may be on closeout. seems a lot of places have it for sub $400...but none of the official retailers for which the rebate is elgible for

I used a VG150 for a while and I loved it. I don't think it comes w/ a DVI connector, but the image looked awesome to me. 🙂

No, outpost is not a participating retailer. If you buy from Outpost, you will not qualify for the rebate.

If buy from MicroCenter, their price is $469.00. They charge tax for CO, GA, KS, NY, PA, TX. Only $20.95 for ground shipping, which is $10 less than I buy from local store.

go to the outpost link -- it has a direct link to the pdf form of the rebate

im assuming that becuase outpost is the web arm of frys now that it is now an authorized retailer

i called them and they have confirmed it 's possible and no problem with it. They asked me to start a clame, but I did not buy it yet, tomorrow.

wuhoo, you are right. I forgot Fry bought Outpost.

The shipping fee is $8.12 through UPS ground from Outpost.

dude theres a site that is selling vg150s for $319 (refurbed though)

hey wuhoo,
do you think AMEX will PM that site - selling it at 319?? i think i saw the same site as well.... did you try it yet??? gosh, i may just do this - 247 is not bad for a monitor at least, but 219 would be better if possible!

compusa.com and officedepot.com have this monitor as well.... compusa's price is 408.96 and after S&H and tax it's $456.35. officedepot.com has it for 469.99 and i think shipping is free. hmmm if anyone finds a really low price tp PM to, let us know!!!

wow azri...
it would be even HOTTER if you could get the $100 rebate from Viewsonic to work with these guys!!! does anybody think Viewsonic would honor the rebate even though this reseller isn't one of the listed resellers that qualify for the rebate?? i've heard from someone that Viewsonic honored a rebate request from Staples.... hmmm i wonder.

also, if that wouldn't work, does anyone know if AMEX would PM a quote over the phone???

it would be nice if this could potentially go down to 150$!!!

presentingsolutions.com gave me a quote of $299 and $250 if I buy a projector. thanks, but no, thanks

Have you called them directly or e-mail quoted ?? If you read the thread, the sales person gives different quotes. Just checking, I'm not into LCD thingy.

i left a message to John, he did not call back, i tryed to make it 250, she checked and said only with projector purchase

hey IgorTS,
did you buy the monitor and send the claim in to AMEX Blue yet - which site did you PM to??? has anyone tried PMing to the site that has it for 319$ refurbed??? the lowest price i've seen yet is: here. anyway, please let us know what happened for those who tried this deal!

true...
i'm so tempted just to buy this right now 😀 but i have another PM in progress though on the Canon S110... : (

For some reason I cannot respond here (did lengthy response three times). Short warning-based on past experience, Viewsonic will burn you on this rebate. Don't do the deal. PM me for details.
