Hi there I am thinking about upgrading my Good ol CRt with LCD
I am thinking about NEC 20WMGX2.
Now I do not how much of a upgrade would over ViewSonic G90 FB
I know following I will get some space with LCD and 2' bigger Screen with USB 2 Hub +TV .
However I always heard CRT gives more natural and great contrast plus brightness.
Any body can comment or advise me on this ?

In general, yes, but you're comparing a midrange shadow mask CRT to what is still one of the best LCDs around. Depending on where you live though, the 20WMGX2 may be hard to find. It has been discontinued in the US and is somewhat hard to come by these days. I don't know what its status is in other countries.

Actually CRT I have it is a Aperture grille TUBE.
I can get the NEC 20WMGX2 for 250 Shipping and Taxes included.

I've got the ViewSonic G90 FB and I'm not too happy with it. The color/gamma is excellent, but it's unacceptably blurry for text at anything over 1280x960@75Hz. So it doesn't make for a good primary monitor.

There must be better CRTs still around than this. Sadly there are still no low-cost LCDs that come close to the color quality of even this blurry CRT, and it does make a good gaming monitor.

I use a 21" crt monitor.
Its an IBM model P260 with a sony trinitron FD tube.
These are some of the best crt monitors ever made.
They were designed for CAD and graphics work and originally cost almost $1k each.

You can find them on ebay for about 100-300.00.
Just search for trinitron FD.
