ViewSonic A90f+ blurry?

I just bought the A90f+ from my local Best Buy and I wanted to see if anybody else has this monitor, and what they think about it. I'm running the monitor at 1280x1024, 75 Hertz on a GF4 4200 and it seems to be a bit blurry to me. Has anybody else had this experience or is it just me? The UltraBrite Mode is the worst, text is all washed out and very blurry. In normal mode everything is readable but just not as crisp as I was hoping. I'm very inexperienced when it comes to monitors as my samtron 75E is my only frame of reference.

This is my first post here, so please, be gentle ;-)

I have an A90f that gets blurry in the very center of the screen at those resolutions. I personally don't like to run my res on 19" moniters higher than 1152x864. could be the video card causing it as well.

If I lower the resolution dramatically, like to 1024x768, then things get quite a bit better. The reason I was running it at 1280x1024, 75Hertz is because that was the manufacturer's suggested optimal settings. Just seems strange to me that the manufacturer would suggest settings that don't look good.

yea thats what they said was optimal for mine as well but my experience says no higher than 1152x864 if i want a reasonably good image.

Yeah 1152x864 does seem to be the sweet spot so long as I dont turn the ultrabrite mode on. I have a more troubeling problem now though, every time I turn the darn thing on the screen is out of wack and I have to recalibrate it. I've just about had it with this thing, think I 'm going to take it back and get the Samsung 955DF. Thanks for your help though NesuD, Champion.
