LOL, if it was a price error then NO, they won't honor their 'price'. I'm not going to get all bent out of shape if they don't. We all know that it was a deal that was "too good to be true", but we figured maybe we'd get lucky anyhow. Who's to say if anyone will or won't. I doubt it, but it was worth a shot. Its nothing to get all worked up about. I do think their reseller ratings will take a hit because of it though (that is, if they don't honor their price).

crap- the deals been there THAT LONG? doesnt look good for ATers 😉

Deal was posted on SD at 10:00 P.M. 58 pages long, 869 replies, and 86000 views. Wow, that's a lotta views.

what?
are you saying they DIDNT honor the price? no one has reported cancellation yet so what are you ranting about?[/quote]

not ranting at all I orderd 2 of them and I was even looking for a tv ,mine died the blue screen so tube
In My shop I put an add out for brake jobs at 89.95 per axel and the add came out said 59.95 so in two days I lost over 3500$ but I honerd the add as it came out so 117 brake jobs in 2 days

So obvioulsy this has to be dead. I'll bet they've had over a couple thousand purchases for this tv. Doubt they have anywhere close to that in stock.

...waiting for my cancellation email.....

I don't know, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. If you're an online business, you should emphasize on checking, double checking, and triple checking your prices. There is no need for things like this to happen if you're smart enough to check ****** before you post it. If you post a price, stick to it or at least give a 5% coupon or free shipping on your next order coupon.

some reports of cancellations, one report of sent to wharehouse, and one report of a tracking number... I have a feeling the actually honored the early birds... apparently I should check Sliiiikdeals from now on 😉

My order went from "confirmed" to "processing." I place my order roughly 7:30 in the morning Cali time. I used Google Checkout, not sure if this has anything to do with it. Im still expecting a cancellation email sometime soon.

Just got an order confirmation email directly from costcentral. Not sure if this means anything. This is in addition to the order reciept email I recieved from GCO

I just received this email from them. I ordered this morning at 7 Am Eastern time.

We regret that there was a website error. Your order has been cancelled. Please feel free to place another order at costcentral.com

I ordered at 3am EST. When it said like 225 in stock.

Just got this in my e-mail.

We regret that there was a website error. Your order has been cancelled.
Please feel free to place another order at costcentral.com.

Canceled. Oh well

got a cancellation as well

They aren't handling this as I think they should. I understand its a pricing error, but they aren't even giving us anything (5% discount or free shipping on next order). I just got a "Feel free to place another order")

Cancelled. I don't hold it against them. It's a little bit like playing lotto - the odds are about the same and if you really build up your hopes of winning and then lose, it hurts. On the other hand, I didn't just piss away $300 on lotto tickets so.....

I wouldn't hold it against them, that they cancled the orders.

Can you imagine, if their cost for these tv's is $600/ea (reasonable) and they lost 300 per set.

If they sold 300 of them, they'd be out $90,000 dollars. I don't know about you, but I'd rather lose a few customers than 90k.

Has anyone else NOT gotten the cancellation notice? I placed my order around 7:30am Central, and have not gotten a cancellation yet. Of course my CC hasn't been charged yet either so....

I placed and order and it got cancelled.

Normally I wouldn't care. However, the fact that they had it set up with the wrong price and an endless supply seems rather fishy. If it was just one or the other I could understand an error, but both together seems more like it was intentionally done to gather information.
