Viewing videos in firefox

Before I had firefox on my old computer, i could tabb a video link and it would let me view the video in a quicktime through that newly opened tab. But now when i click on a video link it automatically brings up the download manager and the video is viewed in the quicktime application itself. How can i make it so that it is viewed in a new tab?

Tools->Options->Downloads and remove the Quicktime file type.
