Viewing threads in RSS feeds

Is there anyway to view more than say the ten that show up? I use IE7 for RSS viewing. I'd love to see 100 - 500 show up on one page like how I have with my topics.
 
My question would be more along the lines of why do I continually get rss update failures when trying to get updated hot deals topics? I use RSS Bandit and get the following error anytime I try to update:

AnandTech HotDeals Forum
Web Failure
Refresh feed 'News\AnandTech HotDeals Forum' failed with error: Request timeout
