Vietnamese as a second language; anyone?

This thread is cracking me up.

Vietnamese is useless and its also very hard to learn.
As someone said, you have to speak it in a certain accent/dialect for people to understand you.
And the language got all these squiggly signs that goes on the letters and then it has an entire new meaning and pronouciation.
I speak what I called Vietlishese. I'll try speaking Vietnamese and then I can't find the words so I'll substitute English to complete my sentence.

I'd say go learn Spanish...much more useful. I'd love to learn Spanish.

heh, my family does this so much, it confuses my brother cause he knows very little vietnamese. My cousins do it too, but more on the english side.

And I wouldn't say the accent is too difficult... unless you're trying to speak w/ a southern one. I can hardly understand anyone.

eh, its language thats comprised of the sounds a person makes as they are being punched in the stomach. lifes too short...learn a real language;)

am dap nieu....is written as em dep nhieu...not diep, not nieu...k, i am done being the viet nazi. well i guess, i can also add that there is a ^ over the e's in dep and nhieu, there i also a . under the e in dep, and a \ over the middle of nhieu.
