Viet Cong2 Multiplayer Demo released today

VC2 out today, though i've never bought the game, I played the crap outa the origional VC demo as well as the VC First Alpha demo and enjoyed them both. The Wepons physics are better than anything else evar, IMHO.

Thats a bold statement. Although I never played the original, I'm gonna have to give this one a shot. :thumbsup:

The first two were done very well anyway's and for demo's lot's of fun. They allowed you to play on full retail servers but did'nt allow you to have all the wepons or options of the palyers who had retail versions and you only got a few maps.

I would never have tried this game if it werent for this post. While the game does not have the graphics of Doom or the physics of Source I do have to agree with Killrose -- BEST WEAPON SETUP EVER. The game is fairly realistic ala Call of Duty with iron sights and when you get shot its pretty much impossible to do anything unless you drop to the ground right away or just get hit once everything blurs and your heart starts beating, you cannot hear anything for a few seconds until you regain composure and it makes killing the person who was sneaking up on you even better. The game doesnt seem set up the best for CTF and thats what most people are playing - I thoroughly enjoyed DM and TDM. I did crash to the desktop once but the game runs fairly smooth.

The variety of weapons available is reminisint of CS and something about the DM setup where guns are just there on the ground has a golden eye feel to it..

i loved vietcong and love this. had NO idea a second one was coming out. i destroyed every DM server i touched last night.

This is a sick game. The default controls are different. The graphics arent the best but the enviroments are insane. The Weapons look better than the first one too.

i thought the game was very unique especially in vietname mode but however it didnt appeal to me that much. The weapons were fun but levels were lacking even with 32 players wasnt that fun. I dont think ill purchase it.

Played this demo but I wasn't overly impressed. Seems more like Vietcong 1.5 than a different game.

I never did play a vietnam mode but I didnt see a problem with trail although depot or whatever wasnt that great.
