Why do they no longer put a vid on new cpu's? My Q6600 had a vid of 1.275 and it was always best to search for a low vid cpu when overclocking. Now there is no vid printed on the box or processor, has something changed?
 
Unless they can market/profit off of product differentiation, they probably don't want to expose it to the end user.
