Hey folks...

I need a little bit of help please. I have the Inno3d geforce 3 videocard, and I'm running it in Win98se. Prior to last week, I had been running the 21.83 drivers, and then decided to run the 28.32 set. In addition, I downloaded the geforce tweak utility from guru3d.com. Well, I didn't like the utility so I removed it through the add/remove programs option. I did notice tonight that the program was still in a directory so I deleted it.

Recently, I've been having problems (I believe since I went with the 28.32s, although I'm not sure) in some of my games, so I decided to go back to the 21.83s. Well, either I was lazy (or stupid), and instead of uninstalling the 28.32s, I decided to just reinstall the 21.83s. I then received an error message, so I then removed the 21.83s and restarted the computer so that it would start in vga. Then I went and reinstalled the 21.83s. However, after I restarted my computer, the error message popped up, and it is:

rundll
error in nvqtwk missing nvcpldaemon

After I click on "ok" the error message goes away, and it appears I can continue as normal, but I would really like to get rid of the error message. I've searched my computer's directories for both items, but nothing is found.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks in advance...

Go to add/remove programs and remove any drivers that are still there. Then restart and reinstall your drivers again.

hey guys,

i recently installed a retail radeon 8500 and have been trying all kinds of games (old and new) just to see which drivers are the most stable and compatible (there's that issue with this card you know). Anyway, I tried the driver in the cd that came with the retail box (9003/9006??????????), the ver9009 and the 9016. they all seem to work fine except with the shipping drivers, I encounter artifacts and frequent crashes in ghost recon(all patched-up version). The 9009 works best but i can't play operation flashpoint. The game almost immediately and invariably freezes as soon as the mission begins. None of the drivers work with op flashpoint. I don't know what's wrong. I've done everything from a clean install of both op flashpoint and all drivers (including directx8.1) and still the same problem persists. Op flashpoint works fine by the way when i use my GF3 Ti200 instead of the r8500. What gives?????????
