Video Upgrade with New Mobo and CPU

Well right now I am running an Athlon 64 (Socket 754) on an Asus K8V-SE Deluexe with an ATI 9600XT. I know its nothing special, but it gets the job done for the most part. I have some extra cash laying around and have been contemplating upgrading the innards of my machine. This is what I have been thinking.

ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluexe (I was going to go with the refurb costs $133 on newegg)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Manchester 2000MHz HT ($297)

The part I am struggling with is the video card. I used to work in the computer industry so I was in the mainstream of new technology, but I have fallen out. I need some advice for what video card I should get that would go with those (or if not with those specs you can suggest your own). I am looking in the sub-$200 range, so the total would be no more than about $600. I normally do lots of gaming, some flash stuff, and some video editing. Hope thats all you need!

7600GT IMO, pretty good bang for the buck card.

The 7600gt can be had for $155 with a reabte but the X1800gto a little bit faster with more features can also be had for $170 if you dont' mind rebates. Hell 4 of the X1800gto's have rebates ;-) good luck

Why that particular motherboard? You can't possibly need all its features, and it's a refurb. Might as well get a cheaper, more reliable motherboard that'll serve you just as well. You could then spend a bit more on a better video card.

What would you suggest for a cheaper alternative that is similar in speed? I have been doing research and the other one that came up often was the ASUS A8R-MVP ATX. Does anyone know anything about that?
