Do you see him running away in the videos?

Looks like there was a video of him running away, but many sources are saying that is of another individual. If so, things really needed to get sorted out before any clear conclusions are made.

It's sad either way, but if he was running, which we do not know yet, it would have been a different ending if he just stopped.

Edit: 3 suspect killings in the last week? OK NY Police, time to start making everyone go through training again.

It seems like they were following rather than in active pursuit. That is why they never announced themselves as police. It was just a botched operation every way you look at it. You're right, they need to re-trains these assholes. That's doubly true for those that operate in poor neighborhoods.

Agreed.

When certain people show up on your side, your side loses most, if not all, credibility:

Gloria Allred, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are at the top of that list of people.

So easy to kill minorities these days.
Want to kill a Black person: become a cop.
Want to kill a Hispanic person: become border patrol.
Want to kill a Brown person: join the military.

You forgot babies. We in the military can also kill babies.

Shooting people for getting high now? This has nothing to do with race or blacks and everything to do with this stupid moral high horse "drug war" that has gone on for years. So many civilians and officers alike killed, botched raids, family members shot and killed in the WRONG HOUSES, people accused of being cop killers for defending themselves in a no knock breaking and entering at 3 am...

I'm not a drug user, but I firmly believe everybody has exclusive right to their own bodies and what they do to themselves. If you can get your shit from a legit dealer who doesn't steal or violate the rights of others, and you can pay for it and smoke/shoot it without stealing or violating the rights of others, then where is the fucking problem?

95% of the need for a paramilitary police forces with automatic rifles and armored vehicles along with the "fearful situations" caused by these encounters daily would disappear overnight if this shit wasn't arbitrarily criminalized.

Just because it's a victimless crime, doesn't ex nay the crime part...as per current laws of course.

Irrelevant. My body and property belongs to me and I will only debate that looking over a gun barrel. End of this discussion.

Just in case you forgot how fallible man made law is, it was once "illegal" to be black or Jewish at times in human history. If white people aren't allowed to sit at the front of the bus or own property because 51% of the country is Hispanic and that's what they wanted, you think I'm just going to say "oh well it's the law..." ??

Liberty is absolute. It isn't to be granted or taken away by governments except in the only case where an unprovoked individual is violating the same liberty of another person. And this is what I will adhere to regardless what this worthless world around me adopts in actual practice.

Sucks that the kid died but he had 8 priors?... 8...

Cops probably knew the kid and probably know a lot more about his transgressions and whether he was a danger then either the media or the kid's family does...

From Article -
"Four of those arrests are sealed, but other charges include burglary, possession of stolen property, drug possession, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and robbery. "

WTF is up with Indians and their hate for cops in these forums?

In India, the government and the police force is extremely corrupt. If you get pulled over, you bribe them. They will pull you over for no reason just to get the bribe.

Its possible that any Indians in the US that were raised in India and lived there long enough to deal with this, have an ongoing distrust and bias of the police force here in the US. With all the prejudice they've had to deal with since 9/11, it probably reinforces that distrust.
