So I'm going to have two displays (projectors) set up side by side. Both projectors are 4:3, not 16:9. Is there software available that will allow me to span a widescreen video over both displays? Preferably, I'd like a frontend GUI that can be used with a remote, but if thats not possible, I can live.

Thanks!

for ATI, go to "Display Manager" in CCC, right click the "Desktop 2" display, and choose "Stretch Desktop 1 horizontally onto monitor"

I'm sure Nvidia has something similar but don't know process.

Yep all you really need to do is extend your desktop and then maximize or manually resize the video player.

VLC media player has a setting called video wall where it splits your playing videos into 2 seperate containers and you can just make them both fullscreen on each monitor
