Video Ram Problem?

I have a 64 MB Vid Card. When I reboot in Windows 2K it restarts sayign the the Vid card only has 32 Megs, and if i restart again it says 16MB. The only way that it will read right is if i do a hard reboot, with the button, Ctrl-Alt-Del reboot, or shutdown and start back up. I have a 3d Prophet II MX 64MB, this problem is only in 2K, because when i had ME, I had to restart 5x a day 🙁 and never had this problem. I am running windows 2K pro if that halp. Should i get a Bios update for my vid card, if so where can i get that.

Welcome to Nvidia hell. A lot of nvidia geforce cards do that. Theres faq and a fix for it but being I dumped nvidia for radeon I forget where it is. Someone here surely will tell you or you could search the forums. I had 2 asus 6800 deluxes that did that on 2 completely different systems. Usually a cold boot fixed it up.
