I got to install a AIW card and it won't turn the monitor on.. it just sits there so I try it in another system and that one beeps three times...... Is the card bad?

Some cards are very picky, like I had a Viper II and it wouldn't boot if I had it seated in the AGP in a certain way. But if you still can't get it to work, you can send the card back and get a new one (I think cross ship), soon as you pay me...=)
 
be the connection is bad between the outlet in the v.card and hte monitor cable. or maybe it is placed not precisely into its slot. did u remove any stikers on the card (like any safety stykies on the actual connectors or somewhere else on the board?) i really dont know what could go wrong... "did u jiggle the cables... i jiggled! Jiggle them again!" (old IBM commercial)Anyways i have no idea..... u can always return it and get a new one
