Video quality on 40.71 WHQL?

I have a GF4 Ti4400 and upgraded to these drivers from 30.82. They are a little faster, but I can't really tell if the graphic quality is worse. Does anyone know if these drivers just lowered quality for performance?

Quincunx looked a bit better.. on 1280x1024.
a bit lower quality on 4x FSAA but you won't really notice it...
solved some texture flashing problem on some games. better anisotropy IMO anyway.
but different brand of cards tends to behave differently so you may experience something different than what i've experienced..
