Video Probs

I have been ahving this problem the past month where It seems as tho my video card has been overclocked more than it should have. I have a bfg 6800gt and I have even touched a overclocking program in my life. When I play gun I can still see a line of the screen on the left when the screen goes black for cut scenes. I have also noticed it looks as tho my monitor is ghosting. I dont think a dell 2005 ws would ghost would it? I dunno what to do, im thinking rma the vid card and the monitor. help

Take a screenshot of the line you're talking about and host and link it here. Also, i'm not familiar with the Dell lineup but ghosting depends on the response time of the LCD..do you know what it is?

This may be a long shot but check if you have the latest drivers. You never know.As for your monitor ghosting post a pic here so we can check it out for you.

ok well here is the thing, I have taken over 50 ss on source and over 100 ss on wow and still when i past them on my paint, you are not able to see the lines. I dunno what to do, my osd control thing on the monitor has alot of stuff grayed out like audoadjust, pixel clock, sharpness and etc. My respones time says on dell website 12 ms and I have the newest nvidia beta drivers from nzone. I think i just might rma my monitor, unless theres somway to fix this prob.

If the line is not showing up on hundreds of screenshots then it definately sounds like something is up with the monitor, and not the card. Is there no 'factory restore' or default settings on the monitor?
