i have a problem im not sure if its my monitor or video card i have a viewsonic 19 crt p95f+ series and a 9700 pro


sometimes my screen will show all colors but red and any other colors appear distorted... but after a while it will work fine? any ideas?
 
could be the cord. happens at work a lot, the cord will get a kink in it and tint everything green or red or something crazy.
 
Cord or monitor. My brother's monitor lost the red gun, which did this, and one time I saw a vid cable partly connected, with the same symptom.
