video problem

for some reason after playing half life 2, the maximize and minimize animation all lag a lot. this only happens after playing the game, any ideas. i don't really feel like posting specs, but hte msot important is that i have a 9250 it worked well before so i know that the graphic card is capable of doin gthis

🙁 I hate the animations. I wish they would die.

Anyway, it sounds like the game is enabling something for the graphics, and not turning it off when you exit (or something like that). I'm not sure about "how" or "what" for any reason or fix, but maybe you could try forcing the card to use certain filter levels, instead of letting the application do it (I mean the stuff like AA, AF, any optimizations, etc.). Then maybe the game won't change whatever it is that's cauing the problem.
