Video Problem...Need Advise

I turn on my computer today with a big surprise! My screen is is all garbled/tearing affect (Looks like a jigsaw puzzle, with pieces all on differect places). My first thought was that my video card is toast! So I tried to boot/re-boot with no luck.

So, I pull out the card (Asylum Ti4600 128), and resitted in on my MB (Asus A7N8X deluxe) with the same result.

The card is about 10 day's old, so I'm ready to exchange it for a new one, but before I did, I change some setting in my BIOS, from "Aggresive" to "Optimal" to be exact.

When I re-booted, everything was back to normal. Weird....
What's more ming-boggling is the fact that when I change my setting back to "Aggresive", it's still work normally.

I'm now running my system with "Aggressive" on my BIOS settings, and everything is fine again.

Nothing is OC'd, and my case is running pretty cool with 6 80mm case fans.

So, what do you guys think? Is my Video card dying on me? Or is there other reason's for this?

Should I just go ahead and replace my video card?

Thanks in advance...

I would, just in case. Youd feel pretty stupid if it did the same thing after your warranty ran out and you couldnt get it replaced.

Usually the ram causes that type of error if it's really really bad quality (some motherboards will spit it out like that), or if it's overclocked too high (or the CAS/RAS whatever settings are set too high)

Just my .02

bad thatbox! rmaing becuase it 'might' means you might be rmaing perfectly good hardware and that winds up driveing up prices in the long run. bad!

i had an old socket7 fic motherboard that gave me garbled video after 6 months, rma'd it and got another that wound up doing the same thing after the same amount of time. so who is to say it is the video card at all.

Well, it happen again... Same piece of garbage on my screen.

I decided to swap it with my old GTS Pro card, and it went away... So, as far as I'm concern there is no BFG Asylum card for me... EVER!!! Well, maybe not ever... but right now, I'm pretty disappointed.

This is card going bye-bye!

RAM? Which one? Them motherboard one's or the Video card one?
