video output card??

hi
i have a gf2mx and i want to output the computer video to my tv... but my video card doesnt have a video output plug

do i have to buy a new video card or can i buy some card that can output the video?

You have 2 options:

A new vid card that does have it or...

A converter box that translates VGA into NTCS (very ugly picture quality, only good for gaming IMO, wont be able to read text)

The box will run you $40 - $60 depending on brand.

It's called a scan converter and there are many that have very good quality. NO TV-out system will give you legible text. TV's are too low-resolution for that. Do a search of the forums for &quot;scan converter&quot; and you will find lots of information about them, from people who have the facts and experience to recommend some quality models.

Here's a more direct approach - there's a user on these forums named RobsTV - send him a PM asking nicely for more information. He uses a scan converter all the time. Tell him I sent you, lol!
