I have a Sapphire 9800 Pro connected via dvi to an lcd. I also have an s-video cable connected to it to have video out to my tv. My problem is that I can't get it to do video out to my tv as a Secondary monitor. This is strange because I used to be able to do it without any problems. Now when I check on the option to "extend the desktop to a secondary monitor" and press apply/ok, it will just uncheck and nothing is output to the tv. I used to be able to do that without a problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate.

first check in your display properties,, settings, advance, display.
In there if your cable is connect correctly you should see you TV with a red button on the upper left corrner. click on that button should enable your tv. on the bottom of that same tv section, you shoudl see 2 blue box. one show primary and the other is secondary, click on the primary to see if it shows anything,, then click on secondary to see what happen

I've checked the display properties and it doesn't register that there's a TV connected. I've checked all fo the connections and they seem to be fine. I even checked the power connector to the garphics card cause it started happening after my friend hooked up his ps2 hard drive to do some formatting and switched some of the power connectors around. I've since double-checked and made sure all fo the devices have enough power. I've reinstalled the drivers but that doesn't help either. It just doesn't seem to recognize the tv as a display.

NM... fooled around with it and figured it out. For some reason I had to force it to recognize the tv. Not sure how that works but it worked. THanks for the help.
