Video options for ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

It does not have video.

For general gaming at 900p/1080p.............

I suggest a 4gb gtx960 or 4gb 1050ti if you have a Q9xxx quad core cpu overclocked to 3.8+.
With a Q9xxx quad core @ 3.0 to 3.4 , a gtx950 or 1050 is a good match.
Any 775 socket quad cpu slower, a used gtx750ti is a good choice.

I have a Q9550 that overclocks to 4.0 and I've done some testing.

"P" chipsets had no IGP, even P67 didn't allow you to use it
since you were considering using an lga 775 IGP, you probably don't need an expensive card, any used HD 5450 will do, but if you want something new for non gaming the GT 1030 is pretty nice (as long as you don't need to use a VGA monitor, or more than dual monitor)

A GTX 470/480 are good options for an LGA775 based processor. Even a 580 3gb would be a good matchup for a Q9XX0.

I've got some BNIB XFX R5 230 2GB (I think) cards. Let me know if you're interested in one of them, they were fairly cheap.

Edit: These are NOT gaming cards, Btw.

I have that motherboard and a Q9650, I recently upgraded to a open box Asus AMD 280X, seems to run everything I throw at it however I am not a huge fps guy, I just go by looks and everything looks OK to me. I do feel this is the end of the line. My system still has some gaming life in it but I think the 280X is the zenith of what I can expect.
