He had leathers on and a helmet.

That's nuts. I've hit almost 50mph on my road bike going downhill. That's fast enough for me. Can't imagine going down even at that speed. Of course, I'm wearing nothing but lycra shorts, a cycling jersey, helmet and some padded gloves.

I've hit 45 wearing nothing but shorts and tshirt 😛

Seriously, that's crazy. The bike must've been heavily modified not to fall apart at that speed.

What would be the point though.....at that speed he would roll and bounce and break every bone in his body before he even slowed down to a 100mph
