AMY WINEHOUSE could miss her big Grammy appearance because she won?t kick drugs.

The Rehab star has six nominations for the US music awards and has been lined up as the big star of the ceremony.

But US officials have demanded that to get a visa, Amy must take a drug test to prove she is clean.

Sources say she would have to be clear of drugs for weeks to pass - and the glitzy Los Angeles bash is on February 10.

Amy has said she isn?t ready to quit, so her performance is really on the line.

A source said: "Amy?s been told she needs to pass a drug test before she can get a visa.


"She is doing much better and has cut down her drug use but still isn?t clean.


Her recent holiday in Mustique was about cleaning up and it did help. But it is hard to believe there will be a time before going to the US that she could pass the test.

"Her team are desperate to clean her up as the Grammys is such a big deal. But Amy?s not so bothered."

With her new blonde barnet covered by a Hilda Ogden-style headscarf, Amy got stuck into some chips and crisps on Wednesday.

I knew I was out of touch with pop culture..but wow, this story is everywhere and I have no clue what this person has contributed to society

..and psudo experts of some sort. everything from forign policy to enviromental grifting. most of em never made it out of highschool.
